I recently wrote a post for Sarah over at Lifewithlilred on how to get into the spirit of spring, even if you’re stuck indoors. We might be just going into autumn here in Australia, but I know a lot of my readers are in the Northern hemisphere, and are just starting to see spring! Surely there is no better season for a sense of renewal and rejuvenation? Spring is sure to be quite different for many of us this year, as we are stuck indoors during lockdowns, unable to get out into nature at this most enticing of times. I enjoyed putting together this list of just a few of the ways you can enjoy the season, without having to leave the house. Check it out over at Lifewithlilred!

What are you doing to enjoy spring from the great indoors? I’d love to hear your ideas and suggestions in the comments!

  1. I love sitting at an open window with a book (or if the pollen’s bad, just near a window with a view I enjoy). That way I can both enjoy the book, smell the scents and hear the birds, plus see the view to rest my eyes from time to time.

    • Aw that’s such a good idea! I bought a new armchair recently, and I like sitting in it reading and looking out at the tree outside 🙂 I’ve also read it’s good to do the thing of looking 20 metres away every 20 minutes too, so that sounds good!
